The Hardware of a Motion Control System represents the component where all of the heavy lifting is done. This is where the data input by the operator is turned into motion.
Motion Controllers and PLCs manage the motion profiles. Safety PLCs, relays, and processors monitor inputs, E-Stop actuator status, and remain at the ready to bring all machinery to a safe stop. Drive and DTL starter systems power motors to turn the machinery and make the magic the audience is there to see.
The only element left is packaging. How does the hardware fit into the instlaltion? This is the final piece of the puzzle. Is the installation a tour, a small theatre, a Broadway stage, an arena, or a studio? Is the installation temporary or permanent?
